さあ、いよいよ９時間後にはキックオフ！

ちょっと遅くなりましたが、タイムテーブルをアップしました。

トップバッターは、パッと燃え上がって燃え尽きる超新星、PUNKs。

演奏時間もわずか10分という、まさにNO FUTURE感満載のバンドです。

朝っぱらから彼らの演奏を目にできた方は、運がいいとしか言いようがないでしょう。

続いては、東京の東の果てから多摩川を揺るがしにやってきたレペゼン葛飾区、DJ OH-JI!

プチロックのメインMCでもある彼の意外とスムース系な選曲に、酒が進むこと請け合い。

その直後に、管理人もちょっとだけKING OF POPを追悼させて頂きます。

お次は、ひるどき日本列島にキックとスネアの足音を響かせる超絶ブレイクビーツ、DJ ZERO(N)。これから河川敷を襲うミュージック・タイフーンの予感を、十二分に感じさせてくれるでしょう。

お昼を過ぎてハイタイムになると、会場は完全に無国籍状態に。

The Shirtsがかき鳴らすは、ポップでありつつ随所にスパイスの利いた、音楽的運動神経抜群のオルタナティヴロック。

DJ Ahimsaのサイケかつドープな音像に身も心もトリップ＆ホップしたあとは、我々オーガナイザーチームによるトーキョー・ファンク、WET BAND WAGON!!

主催者特権で、一時間ももらってしまいました。こいつは酔っぱらう訳にはいきませんね。

そろそろ夏の陽が傾き始める午後3時過ぎ、河原にあの男がやって来ます。

フジロックでもおなじみ、Conoley Ospovat! クールかつクレバーな４つ打ちが、レディーとジェントルメンの理性を静かに静かに麻痺させていくはず。

そして、トリを飾るは横浜を代表するサンバ集団、Mocidade Vagabunda!!!

今年のコンセプト「Samba de TOKYO!」は、この人たちなしには完成しません。Conoleyのビートに揺られながら「その時」を待っていたハートに、フィジカルなビートの嵐が火をつけます。天国と見まごうばかりのカルナヴァル空間が現れることは間違いなし。

この瞬間を目撃するために、書を捨てて上着を脱ぎ捨て、さあ多摩川へ！

あなたの心にいつまでも消えない太陽のかけらを刻みつけるため、今夜はわれわれ一同、寝ずに準備です！

Conoley Ospovat

Not content to follow trends or pigeonhole himself, Tokyo-based American-born live performer and producer Conoley Ospovat draws on a diverse range of influences such as techno, progressive house, electronica, synthpop and improvisational jam bands to make energetic dance music that is rich in emotion. Ospovat's live performances are dynamic and engaging, as he plays and controls synthesizers, a laptop and a midi-controller in real time, as well as running his own live vocals through guitar effects pedals. He has played live extensively since 2003 across America and Japan, including the Fuji Rock Festival, a 2007 U.S. tour, and at the popular Real Grooves club events in Tokyo.

Weekends Tokyo Band Wagon

Weekends Tokyo presents W.E.T. Band Wagon: Live, Loose, Jazzy grooves with a funky rhythm section. This Septet's message for puchi rock 09:

Started on the streets of Shimokitazawa, beer drenched street lives turned gonzo and broken up by police.

From break-ups to breakfast Teh Shirts are on a rock and roll hayride to oblivion, or something. Three singer-

songwriters and one powerful drummer. Power pop, indie folk and epic rock anthems.

DJ Ahimsa (burning desire)

Ahimsa has been playing for over 7 years, and in over 7 countries in numerous cities.

Coming from an Indian background he likes to weave in exotic sounds into his sets. He's into the harder beats and usually pushes techno with a fatter progressive sound on the crowds, sometimes with an electro/tech house side to his mixes depending upon the event.

You can also see Ahimsa at many of Tokyo's bellydance events, playing arabian fusion with similar style.

フライヤー完成！

いよいよ７月です。

うっとうしい梅雨も後半。衰え始めた雨雲クソ野郎（feat有吉）を切り裂くように、都内の各所に↓↓↓こいつらが出現しますよ！

SAMBA de TOKYO!!!!

今年のテーマは、強引にこの言葉にしました。

サンバというとお気楽に大騒ぎしている音楽というくらいのイメージしかないかもしれませんが、実はこれ、パンクやヒップホップと同じ「レベル・ミュージック」なんです。

古典サンバの歌詞を聞いてみると「カルナヴァル（カーニバル）なんてもうウンザリだ、そのために残りの1年を泣きながら暮らすなんて……」とか、ブルースの歌詞みたいなのがかなり多かったり。

カルナヴァルそのものも、奴隷として働かされていた黒人たちが、お祭りの日に王侯貴族のような華やかな衣装を着て街を練り歩き、つかの間の「立場の逆転」を味わったのが起源といわれているんです。

ひるがえって2009年の東京。僕らは奴隷でもなんでもありませんが、景気は悪いし、政治家はクズだし、マイケルは死んだし、まるでモノクロームのような時代。けれど、PETIT ROCKだけは、そしてこの日を一緒に過ごした皆さんだけは、この灰色の時代をレインボーに塗り替えるパワーを持っていてほしい。そんなことも考えながら、このテーマを決めました。

ま、とはいえ、そんな固いことは抜きに、思いっきり楽しんで下さい。とびきりの笑顔と爆音が、この時代にかかる見えない灰色のヴェールを、勝手に吹き飛ばすでしょう。
